You can assign alternate classifications for jobs that might be paid a different rate when worked in a different cost centre. For example, if someone with a job classificaiton of 'Contract RN Speciality A' is paid the rate for a 'Contract RN Speciality B' when working in a 'Coronary ICU' cost centre, but paid the base rate for their classificaiton when working in other cost centres.

Cost Code

Select the cost centre for which work is paid at an alternate classification rate.

Alternate Classification

Select the Classification whose rate will be used to pay the employee for work in the selected cost centre.
