The Kwik-Pay award structure allows common pay rates and leave entitlements to be created for groups of employees, saving the chore of updating pay rates for individuals when they change.
You can define any number of different awards. Each award to split into Classifications, which are categories of employees within the award. For instance, a clerical award may have different classifications for 'under 18', '18 to 20', '20 and over' and 'manager'. There can be any number of classifications within each award. Classifications are defined separately.

The description is required to identify the Classification.
Alternate Classifications
You can assign alternate classifications for jobs that might be paid a different rate when worked in a different cost centre. For example, if someone with a job classification of 'Contract RN Speciality A' is paid the rate for a 'Contract RN Speciality B' when working in a 'Coronary ICU' cost centre, but paid the base rate for their classificaiton when working in other cost centres.
- New creates a new Alternate Classification
- Edit changes the current selected Alternate Classification's name
- Delete deletes the current selected Alternate Classification
When you select an alternate classification for edit, or add a new alternate classification, the Alternate Classification Edit form is displayed.
