Kwik-Pay allows you to create multiple payroll databases, where each database contains all the information required to process a payroll for one company.

A payroll database can be created in a Microsoft Access database file (the default for Kwik-Pay), or in a server based database hosted by Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. Kwik-Pay utilises a 'udl' file to define the connection to the server. The 'udl' file contains enough information for Kwik-Pay to establish a connection to the server.

In the file open window that is displayed when you select 'Open Payroll', select a 'mdb' file type if you want to open a Kwik-Pay payroll stored in an Microsoft Access database, or a 'udl' file type if you want to open a Kwik-Pay payroll stored on a SQL Server or Oracle database server.

Select New Payroll to create a new payroll database, either as a Microsoft Access file or on a SQL Server or Oracle database server.
