The properties define characteristics of pay items and other payroll components. A number of properties are pre-defined and used by Kwik-Pay's statutory and other reporting. If you delete an existing property, Some of Kwik-Pay's reports may cease to function correctly.
However, you may wish to create additional properties in order to generate your own reports from the data held in your Kwik-Pay payroll.
There is no restriction on the number of additional properties that you can create.
After defining a new property you can add the property to pay items and give the property your own value. This will allow you to create your own categories of pay items.
When you select a property for edit, or add a new property, the Property Edit form is displayed.
Note that you cannot edit or delete a system property.
