Property Edit

The properties define characteristics of pay items and other payroll components. A number of properties are pre-defined and used by Kwik-Pay's statutory and other reporting. If you delete an existing property, Some of Kwik-Pay's reports may cease to function correctly.

• Scope defines where the property may be used
• Type indicates the type of value the property may contain: text, number or whatever
• Description provides a little documentation of the purpose of the property
• Values allows the value of a property to be restricted to a list. Enter the values one per line (create a new line by pressing ctl-Enter). When you add the property in the pay item edit screen, you will only be able to select one of the values you enter here, but leave the values field empty to allow any value to be entered for the property.
