Public Holidays

Menu: View ~ Set up ~ Public Holidays
Button Panel: n/a

When you enter the start and end dates of a spell of leave taken in the pay calculation screen Kwik-Pay will calculate a default number of hours or days for the leave payment. If you maintain the public holidays list , Kwik-Pay will be able to calculate a more accurate figure for the duration of the leave.

The public holiday dates can also be used to set employee's default ordinary pay hours, and create public holiday pay items when opening a new pay period. See Create New Pay Options and Payee Leave Details for more details.

If you define an employees normal hours for each day of the week in the Employee Leave Details form, those hours will be used for the public holiday pay item when it is added to an employee's pay.

When you select a public holiday for edit, or add a new public holiday, the Public Holiday Edit form is displayed.
