This process prints a P35 summary report and optionally submits an End Of Year return to the HMRC.
If you tick the 'Create Internet Filing file' checkbox, and XML file containing your P14 and P35 summary information will be created in a folder specified on the report options form. it will default to creating a folder called 'InternetFiling' in the same folder as your payroll database, and place the XML file in a folder within that with the same name as your payroll database. This is to enable the process to manage sets of internet filing files for different payrolls.
If you tick the 'submit internet filing file now' checkbox, the process will attempt to establish contact with the HMRC internet filing web site and transfer the file to it. You must have a direct connection to the internet for this to work! If the file is submitted, you can monitor the process using the Internet Filing form in Kwik-Pay.
The P35 will normally be printed for the current tax year, but you have the option of re-printing a P35 for a previous tax year if you wish.
