All the standard tax rates are already built into the system. Although there is provision for users to change them, it is recommended that they are left alone. If any of the rates change, an update to KwikPay will be available from the KwikPay web site.
The tax rates are used in the tax calculation where an amount of tax is dependant on a level of taxable pay.
Consult the Taxation Office's PAYE calculation specifications if you wish to know how each parameter affects the tax calculation.
When you select a tax rate for edit, or add a new tax rate, the Tax Rate Edit form is displayed.
