Kwik-Pay allows you to restrict access to any of the program functions. By default, no security restrictions apply.
Access can be restricted on a user or group basis. If any security restrictions have been defined, then a login window will be displayed when Kwik-Pay starts. A valid user name and password must then be entered, and the user will be restricted to just those functions that have been defined.
However, if no security restrictions have been defined, a login prompt will not be displayed when Kwik-Pay starts and all functions in Kwik-Pay will be accessible.
To define security, you must first create a user, and then assign available functions to that user.
When you select an user for edit, or add a new user, the User Edit form is displayed.
If you have a number of different users who will be given the same permissions in the system, create a group (using the user edit screen), assign the restrictions to the group, and then link each of the users to the group. Any change to the group's restrictions will then be applied automaticaly to every user linked to the group.
